alters an individual’s perception, thought, affect and behaviour.
In a systematic review (SR) of the incidence of schizophrenia, the average incidence rate was 15.2 per 100,000. The number isn't small with 25 million population, one may expect a thousands to be afflicted, and maybe more of the unreported cases. The incidence was noted higher in males, urban and migrant population. So, what can we do to understand on its management?
The latest clinical practice guidelines for Management of Schizophrenia in Adults (May 2009) is out. You can head to the downloads section (Sidebar) to get it.
